Ian Luepker, psilocybin facilitator
Ian Luepker has been in private practice for 22 years, and worked on psychiatric units for 12 years. He obtained is Oregon psilocybin facilitation license in September of 2023. He approaches health and well-being from a holistic perspective by recognizing the complex interplay between mental, emotional, physical, social and spiritual suffering. By listening to his patients with compassion, care and respect, he takes a collaborative, preventative and integrative approach to supporting their self-led innate healing capacity. His goal is to address both symptoms and their underlying root cause. Ian sees the psilocybin journey as an opportunity to move toward wholeness and healing by integrating all aspects or parts of who we are. It is an opportunity to become unstuck from past experiences and to move forward with more freedom, self-compassion, self-acceptance, and self-love. Ian has a special interest in palliative medicine and end-of-life care, and completed a nine month nurse practitioner palliative medicine certification training in 2018. This training is helpful for exploring the existential inquiry that often arises during a psilocybin journey. He completed the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Therapy training program in 2022, and is on the faculty of Synaptic Institute’s Entheogenic Medicine Training Program which provides psilocybin facilitator training. He formerly served on the original advisory board of Omnia Group Ashland, a psilocybin service center.
Naoko Bishop, psilocybin facilitator
I’m deeply passionate about guiding individuals on a journey of flourishing with the assistance of psilocybin mushrooms. My life has been a tapestry of profound inner exploration and healing, interwoven with the wisdom of Eastern traditions and the transformative power of psychedelics. From a young age, I confronted personal struggles with loss and depression, catalyzing a path toward self-love, self-acceptance, and personal evolution.
My quest for understanding led me to study ancient Indian art at a Japanese university, immerse myself in Tibetan Buddhism across Ladakh, Dharamsala, and Bhutan, meditate at Himalayan ashram, practice meditation at the Wongsanit Ashram in Thailand, and deepen mindfulness practices at Plum Village in southern France. These diverse experiences have endowed me with a profound comprehension of the complexities of the human heart and soul, and it was during this journey that I discovered the profound potential of psychedelics as allies in the quest for growth.
While working at HOTAKA YOJOEN, a holistic health center in Japan, I dedicated five years to organizing workshops that fostered holistic well-being. In 2007, I hosted a workshop by Dr. Andrew Weil on integrative medicine, imparting participants with a broad spectrum of health knowledge and practices. Additionally, I curated workshops on yoga, meditation, herbal therapy, forest therapy, transpersonal therapy, and Native American sweat lodges, nurturing a holistic approach to well-being.
After relocating to the United States in 2015 and immersing myself in Waldorf education, where I obtained certification as a handwork teacher and facilitated children’s healing through artistic expression, however, my encounter with Ayahuasca reignited my passion for psychedelic exploration. This led me to embark on the path of becoming a psilocybin facilitator, acquiring qualifications in both psilocybin facilitation and somatic psychedelic facilitation. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology at Ubiquity University, emphasizing my personal growth and learning. As a member of ACER Integration, guided by Dr. Rosalind Watts, I explore innovative approaches to psychedelic integration to support clients better. During my sessions, I provide a safe and nurturing environment for clients to delve into their inner worlds, fostering trust and facilitating their journey of self-discovery, healing, and profound transformation. I am particularly excited to work with Japanese clients as well.
